With over 35 years experience in the industry, we are able to offer you a full design, supply and installation service for Brise Soleil Solar Shading and Ventilation and Screening Louvre Systems. We cover the whole of the South West and South of England, as well as South Wales. We work with both Main and Sub Contractors.

We pride ourselves on only using the most experienced and knowledge professionals on our projects. This work can often be complex and you need the right people for the job.
Our CAD designers have worked on many Brise Soleil and Louvre projects around the world, bringing that expertise to your project. All installations are carried out by fully vetted and certified installers, with decades of fitting experience between them.
All the structural work we do is carried out by independant engineers who have worked for many years in the Brise Soleil field. These engineers can even offer Finite Element Analysis, if required, to prove the most taxing of designs.
Most importantly, all Health, Safety and Environmental issues and policies are overseen by experts in their field, CDM Consult Ltd. If it can’t be done safely, we don’t do it.
Brise Soleil Solar Shading
Brise Soleil solar shading uses horizontal and vertical blades to control the amount of solar heat and sun that enters a building. They are not just a practical feature of a building, their installation can create a striking architechtural feature.
We are able to source a wide range of materials for Brise Soleil solar shading. These include numerous extruded re-cycled aluminium aerofoil and Z blade profiles from extruders around Europe, which are either assembled into vertical and/or horizontal panels at our fabricators in the Forest of Dean, or built in-situ on site.
As well as aluminium, we can source timber blades if required, and have experience of working with Western Red Cedar, Larch, Chestnut and manufactured timbers such as Thermowood and Accoya.
Luxvent are happy to find bespoke solutions to your needs. This could include perforated screens, where the perforation pattern can be bespoke to suit and laser cut from sheet aluminium. Or we can provide Motorised Brise Soleil to track the sun. We can also look at incorporating other materials such as glass and polycarbonate if the design requires it.
All metalwork can be polyester powder coated and/or anodised in the case of aluminium, using a wealth of specialist finishing companies.
Whatever product is used, it needs to be fixed securely to the building. This is achieved by first fixing brackets back to the structure, thermally broken brackets to curtain walling mullions, or stand alone structures.
Regardless of how, or what it’s being fixed to, all connections are comprehensively designed by our independent structural engineers.
Ventilation and Screening Louvres
Luxvent are able to offer both fully independently weather tested ventilation louvres and cost effective plantroom screening louvres.
Both louvre systems are manufactured from re-cycled aluminium and can be supplied with numerous accessories including; doors, insect mesh, mitred corners, insulated/uninsulated blanking plates and bespoke pressed flashings.
Steel louvres are available for use in car parks and anywhere where aluminium could be damaged through intentional acts of vandalism.

We are also able to design supply and install support steelwork for rooftop plantrooms, which can be made to be free standing.
Again, all fixings, connections and loadings are comprehensively designed by our independent structural engineers.
